Gerry Blundell paints watercolours and on the 2013 Art Trail he is showing images largely from Italy, but with some views of Wiltshire too, painted mainly over the last couple of years. He paints in order to better appreciate the work of the English Watercolourists of the 18th and 19th centuries, in particular Cotman, Girtin and Turner. The images on show are the product of that process.
