The British countryside is the inspiration for my work. My animal sculptures are life size and made entirely from scrap metal, discarded farm machinery and agricultural bygones along with everyday garden tools welded together. The scrap metal used is recognisable in its original form yet together creates new life.  Often just simply finding one discarded item results in a journey to the finished creature.
