My name is Samuel James, I am sixteen years old and I’m currently studying Photography, Media Studies and Business Studies at Gillingham Comprehensive School’s Sixform. I discovered a passion for photography early last year whilst taking abstract photographs of people and faces on a bog standard digital camera. I realised that this was the career path for me. I shortly after bought a more professional camera and set about building up a portfolio of photographs from all the corners of the world that I have been lucky enough to visit. In December 2012 I visited Goa, Kerala and Tamil Nadu - India, where I spent a week volunteering at an orphanage in which my family have had involvement; Trust Children’s Home. (Website at bottom). I hope you enjoy my photographs and if you have any comments or criticism please do not hesitate to contact me via email, or telephone.
